As per a NOTAM issued by the Indian Air Force, Srinagar airport runway maintenance work will begin in the first week of April. From 6 April 2026 to 31 July 2026, scheduled flight operations will be restricted until 5:00 PM daily.
Even with the shorter operational window, the number of flights is expected to rise in line with the DGCA-approved Summer Schedule. Airlines have been advised to adjust their timings accordingly.
