SRINAGAR: At least five migrant workers from Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri and Poonch districts were killed in a road accident in Kuwait, leaving their families and communities in deep shock.

According to Gulf News, the victims were travelling when their vehicle collided with another on Kuwait’s Sixth Ring Road, resulting in a severe crash. One person was also seriously injured.

The deceased were reportedly working in Kuwait for their livelihood, and the news of the tragedy has triggered widespread mourning in their native villages in Jammu and Kashmir.

Confirming the accident, BJP leader Ravinder Raina described the incident as “shocking and painful,” praying for peace to the departed souls and for the recovery of the critically injured victim.
