Fire Engulfs House in South Kashmir’s Pulwama

SRINAGAR: A residential house caught fire in the Tengpuna area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Thursday evening, officials said.

They said that flames erupted from a residential structure under mysterious circumstances, triggering panic in the locality as fire spread rapidly.

Fire tenders from nearby stations were rushed to the spot and efforts were underway to douse the blaze when last reports came in.

The cause of the fire and extent of damage were yet to be ascertained, officials added, saying that further details are awaited. (KNC)
