SRINAGAR: A fire incident partially damaged the Ahlihadees Masjid at Naibasti in Anantnag district of south Kashmir on Wednesday, prompting swift action by the Fire and Emergency Services, Anantnag Police, and local residents.

An official said that the timely and coordinated response helped contain the flames before they could spread further, thereby preventing major damage to the religious structure. The situation was brought under control within a short span.

Fortunately, no casualties were reported in the incident, and the loss has been to be minimal.
