Final Seniority List of the members of the J&K Fire and Emergency (Gazetted) Services

Government Order No.: 346-Home of 2025 Dated: 11.07.2025.

Whereas, in pursuance of Rule 11 of the J&K Fire and Emergency (Gazetted) Services Recruitment Rules, 2017, notified vide SRO- 286 dated 12.07.2017, read with Rule 24 of Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1956, it is imperative to maintain updated seniority of the members of the service; and

2. Whereas, a tentative seniority list of the members of J&K Fire and Emergency (Gazetted) Services (Deputy Directors), as it stood on 01.01.2025, was issued vide Government Order No. 259-Home of 2025 dated 15.05.2025, for inviting objections, if any, from the members of the service within a period of 21 days from the date of its issuance; and

3. Whereas, Director, Fire and Emergency Services, J&K, vide communication No. DFES-GEN/4/2021-02 (CC-87023) dated 01.07.2025 has intimated that no objections have been received with regard to the Tentative Seniority list of Deputy Directors, Fire and Emergency Services, J&K, issued vide ibid Govt. Order.

4. Now, therefore, the final seniority list of the members of the J&K, Fire and Emergency (Gazetted) Services (Deputy Directors), as it stood on 01.01.2025, forming Annexure-A, to this order, is hereby notified for information of the concerned members of the services, which shall be subject to condition that the date of birth reflected in the seniority list shall in no manner be construed as final and shall be subject to the entries recorded in the Service Book/Date of Birth Certificate of the concerned officer, issued by the Competent Authority.
