Exchange of gunfire in Kishtwar, operation underway: Army

Kishtwar, Sep 21: Army on Sunday said that its troops exchanged fire with terrorists while carrying out an intelligence-based operation in Keshwan area of Kishtwar.

In a post on X, the white Knight Corps said: “Alert troops of #WhiteKnightCorps at around 1 pm today, while carrying out an intelligence based operation in general area of Kishtwar have established contact with terrorists”.

“Fire was exchanged with terrorists. Operation is in progress,” it added.
