Er. Aijaz meets DC Srinagar to discuss public issues

Srinagar, Aug 20: BJP Leader and DDC Member Srinagar Er Aijaz Hussain, accompanied by different delegations met the Deputy Commissioner Srinagar Akshay Labroo and raised several important public issues for immediate consideration.

During the meeting, Er. Aijaz Hussain discussed the long-pending matter of shopkeepers and vendors at Panthachowk, the jurisdictional issue of Padshahibagh—where locals have been deprived of basic civic benefits due to the absence of jurisdiction under either the Municipality or the Rural Development Department—and the demand for deployment of night staff at PHC Lasjan to ensure round-the-clock healthcare services.

He further raised the demand for widening of the road from Khadi Mill Gate Allochibagh up to the end of Khadi Mill, expedite macadamization of roads in Lalchowk Constituency, and stressed the need for dredging and construction of retaining walls on the embankments of the irrigation canal from Balhama up to Dov, Balhama.
