Elderly Man Found Dead Under Mysterious Circumstances in Katra

SRINAGAR: An 87-year-old man was found hanging under mysterious circumstances at his residence in Kadmal area of tehsil Katra.

An official said that the deceased has been identified as Sundru, a resident of Ward No. 6, Kadmal.

Body was shifted to CHC Katra where postmortem was conducted, after which it was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites, official said.

Authorities have initiated an investigation to ascertain the cause and circumstances leading to his death. (KNC)
