Elderly man dies after being hit by tipper in Pulwama

Srinagar, Oct 31: An elderly man died after being hit by a tipper in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Friday, officials said.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that the man was hit by a tipper while crossing the road near Newa, Pulwama, resulting in serious injuries.

He said that he was initially shifted to the Bone and Joint Hospital and later referred to SMHS Hospital, Srinagar, where he succumbed to his injuries.

The deceased has been identified as Abdul Rahim Khanday (85) son of Mohammad Ismail Khanday of Zadoora, Pulwama.—(KNO)
