Srinagar: Ehsaas Foundation on Wednesday launched Ehsaas-e-Sukhan, a literary initiative aimed at encouraging and promoting young poetic and creative talent across the Kashmir Valley.
Conceived as an open platform for expression, Ehsaas-e-Sukhan will provide emerging poets, writers and artists an opportunity to present their work in a supportive and creative setting. The initiative focuses on language, literature, poetry and folk art, with particular emphasis on identifying and encouraging new and unheard voices.
The programme seeks to strengthen literary engagement among youth while contributing to the preservation and revival of Kashmir’s rich cultural and literary traditions. By offering a structured space for interaction and exchange, the platform aims to foster meaningful dialogue and artistic growth.
Vice Chairman of Ehsaas Foundation, Burhan Nazir, said the initiative is dedicated to supporting young and emerging artists who often lack access to platforms for expression.
He said Ehsaas-e-Sukhan is intended to empower youth by giving them confidence to articulate their thoughts and emotions through words. He added that language and literary expression remain central to cultural continuity, and the Foundation aims to support new talent while safeguarding literary heritage.
Ehsaas Foundation has invited poets, writers, storytellers and literature enthusiasts to participate in the initiative and contribute to building a vibrant literary circle in the Valley.
With the launch of Ehsaas-e-Sukhan, the Foundation reaffirmed its focus on youth engagement, cultural promotion and the creation of inclusive spaces where creative voices are encouraged and recognised.
