ECHS Srinagar Medical, Para-Medical And Non-Medical Posts 2025 – Apply For Various Vacancies

Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS), Station HQ Srinagar, has released an official employment notice inviting applications for various Medical, Para-Medical, and Non-Medical posts. The recruitment is on a contractual basis for a period up to 31 March 2026, which may be renewed based on performance and availability of vacancies for FY 2026-27.

As per the notification, five posts are available including OIC Polyclinic, Dental Officer, Dental Assistant/Technician/Hygienist, Lab Technician, and Female Attendant. Applications must be submitted in the prescribed format by 26 July 2025. Preference will be given to Ex-Servicemen (ESM) as per reservation criteria defined for each post.

The selected candidates will have to undergo a 10-day On Job Training (OJT) before formally joining on contract. The interview date and venue will be communicated individually to shortlisted candidates via email or SMS.

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates interested in applying can check the eligibility criteria, age limit, application fee, and other essential details below.

Educational Qualifications:

1) OIC Polyclinic: Graduate with at least 5 years of experience in health care institutions or managerial positions. Preference for candidates with over 10 years of experience and computer qualifications. 100% reservation for ESM.
2) Dental Officer: BDS with 5 years of experience. Reservation – 60% for ESM and 40% for civilian candidates.
3) Dental Assistant/Technician/Hygienist: 10+2 with Science and a two-year diploma in Dental Hygienist or Dental Mechanic Course. Minimum 3 years experience as Technician or 5 years as Hygienist/Assistant. Reservation – 70% ESM, 30% civilian.
4) Lab Technician: B.Sc. (MLT) or 10+2 with Science and Diploma in MLT. Minimum 3 years experience in a medical lab. Reservation – 70% ESM, 30% civilian.
5) Female Attendant: Literate with minimum 5 years experience in civil or army health institutions. Reservation – 70% ESM, 30% civilian.

Age Limit:
The maximum age limit will be as per ECHS rules. Candidates must be medically fit and eligible based on educational and experience criteria as of the closing date.

How to Apply:
Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria must submit their application in the prescribed format along with self-attested copies of relevant documents. The application must be submitted in duplicate to OIC, Station HQ (ECHS Cell), Srinagar, either by post or in person by 26 July 2025.

Selection Process:
The selection of candidates will be based on merit, experience, and performance in the personal interview. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview via SMS or email. No TA/DA will be paid. Selected candidates must complete 10 days of unpaid On Job Training (OJT) and obtain certification from the designated authority before final appointment.
