
An earthquake measuring an estimated magnitude of 5.4 struck the region at around 12:47 am, with tremors felt across the Kashmir Valley, triggering panic among residents.
According to initial data, the epicentre of the earthquake was located approximately 23 kilometres from Afghanistan, and the tremors were strong enough to be felt in multiple countries, including India, Pakistan, Tajikistan, and Afghanistan.
The sudden tremors caused panic among people across Kashmir. However, there are no immediate reports of damage or casualties from any part of the Valley as of now.
