Srinagar, Jul 25: Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary Friday visited party headquarters Nawa-e-Subh in Srinagar. He interacted with dozens of public and individual delegations hailing from various districts across Jammu and Kashmir, said a press release.
The delegations raised a wide range of public issues, including matters related to development, and administration.
The Deputy CM ensured on-the-spot redressal of several grievances by directing the concerned departments and officers to take immediate action. He assured the public that their concerns would be taken seriously and followed up in a time-bound manner.
Following the interactions Choudhary held a detailed press briefing at the Nawa-i-Subh complex. Addressing members of the media, he spoke about the government’s ongoing initiatives for inclusive development, peace, and progress across J&K. He emphasized the importance of public outreach and dialogue in strengthening democracy and governance.
The Deputy CM reiterated the Omar Abdullah led Govt’s focus on transparency, accountability, and citizen-centric policy execution.
Provincial President Showkat Mir was also present on the occasion.
