New Delhi, July 5: Eminent statesman and former Union Minister, Dr. Karan Singh extended heartfelt greetings to His Holiness the Dalai Lama on the occasion of his 90th birthday.
In a personal letter to His Holiness, Dr. Karan Singh reminisced about their first meeting in 1963 during the Dalai Lama’s maiden visit to India and acknowledged the deep bond of friendship they have shared over the decades.
Dr. Karan Singh expressed his gratitude for the Dalai Lama’s continued affection and admired the spiritual leader’s lifelong service to the Tibetan people and peace-loving communities across the globe. He prayed to Lord Shiva and Lord Buddha to bless the Dalai Lama with many more years of health, strength, and global service.
