Dr Farooq, Sagar condole hotelier Manzoor Ahmad Wani’s demise

Srinagar, Jan 29: National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah has expressed grief over the demise of prominent Hotelier Manzoor Ahmad Wani of Nishat.

Remembered not only for his business acumen but also for his philanthropy and pious character, Wani served the community selflessly and earned widespread respect across Srinagar.

In his condolence message, Dr Farooq said, “Manzoor Ahmad Wani sahib was a remarkable individual whose generosity, humility and dedication to social causes touched countless lives. His pious nature and selfless service to others will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.” He expressed heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in eternal peace in the highest echelons of Jannat. It is pertinent to mention that the deceased was uncle of Greater Kashmir Executive Editor Arif Shafi Wani.

Earlier Party’s General Secretary Ali Mohammad Sagar, MLA Channapora Mushtaq Guroo, Political Advisor to VP Mudassar Shahmiri participated in the Namaz e janaza of late Manzoor Ah Wani. They prayed for peace to departed and much needed strength to bereaved.  Party’s State Spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar has also expressed condolences with the bereaved, particularly with GK Executive Editor Arif Shafi Wani.
