District Judiciary condoles demise of staff member

Srinagar, Jan 19: The district judiciary of J&K has expressed shock and concern on the demise of a colleague Sameena Yaqoob, a senior assistant working in special anti corruption court in Srinagar.

The deceased was a noble lady serving the institution with dedication and sincerity. “It is very painful losing such a bonafide colleague at such young age,” said Iftikhar Hussain, President Judicial Employees Welfare Association (JEWA).We stand together as a community in grief and extend our deepest sympathies to family of the departed soul, said JEWA president.

The condolence meetings and special prayers were held across the UT in which staff members and judicial officers participated and prayed for the eternal peace and solace of the departed soul.
