Deputy Commissioner Kupwara Inaugurates CSC Centre at DC Office Complex – Alfaaz – The Words

Kupwara: Deputy Commissioner Kupwara Shrikant Balasaheb Suse on Monday inaugurated a new Common Service Centre, Centre of Excellence for e-Governance, within the DC Office complex to strengthen digital service delivery.

The centre will provide a single window for multiple government services. These include issuance of online certificates, revenue-related services, registration under welfare schemes, utility services, and other digital facilities.

Officials said the facility will reduce the need for repeated visits to government offices. It is expected to benefit residents from remote and far-flung areas by saving time and travel costs.

Addressing the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner Shrikant Balasaheb Suse stressed the role of digital inclusion and transparency in governance. He said the centre will help bridge gaps between the administration and the public by ensuring timely and efficient delivery of services.

Senior district officers including ACR Kupwara Mumtaz Ahmad, CPO Kupwara Parvaiz Ahmad, CSC representatives, and other stakeholders attended the inauguration.

The district administration said the centre would enhance operational efficiency and improve public satisfaction. Officials termed it a step towards building a more citizen-focused and digitally enabled administrative system in Kupwara.
