
Srinagar, Feb 21: Department of Management Studies (DMS), Central University of Kashmir (CUKashmir), celebrated “Management Day 2026” under the theme “Nurturing Future Leaders” at varsity’s Green Campus here on Saturday.
In his welcome address, Head of the Department, Dr Mushtaq Ahmad Lone, encouraged students to act responsibly and uphold ethical values, emphasizing that they are the prospective leaders of tomorrow. He highlighted the importance of leadership skills, critical thinking, and social responsibility in shaping effective managers.
The programme featured insightful student presentations aligned with the event theme, said a press release.
Students from both MBA and BBA (H) programmes participated and shared their perspectives on leadership styles, essential traits of future leaders, and the evolving role of management professionals in a dynamic global environment. The presentations reflected strong analytical thinking and enthusiastic participation from the students. Dr Mir Insha Farooq, coordinated the proceedings and ensured active engagement throughout the programme.
