CUK invites applications for admissions to PhD programmes

Ganderbal, Jul 23: The Central University of Kashmir (CUK) on Wednesday announced the commencement of its admission process for PhD programmes for the academic session 2025–26.

A statement of the CUK issued here said that the aspiring scholars have been invited to submit their applications for both regular and part-time modes of study.

The online application forms are available at http://cukashmiradm.samarth.edu.in/ from July 22, 2025, and the last date for submission of online forms is August 5, 2025.

The CUK is also offering admission to eligible working journalists and media professionals to its Post-Graduate (PG) programme in Mass Communication and Journalism for the academic session 2025 under the New Normal Mode.

The candidates must have a graduation in any discipline with a minimum of 55 percent marks and professional experience of at least two years with a recognised media organisation.

The New Normal Mode offers flexibility through a blended pedagogy model of teaching and learning and promotes a “learn while you earn” opportunity.

Under blended mode, the candidates can complete their required coursework hours in each semester through Offline and Online classes and can also have the flexibility to earn credits from SWAYAM platforms as per the vision of NEP-2020.
