Crime Branch Kashmir Conducts Raids in Ganderbal in Connection With Murder Case – Alfaaz – The Words

Srinagar: Special Crime Wing of Srinagar (Crime Branch) on Monday carried out searches at multiple locations in district Ganderbal in connection with an ongoing murder investigation registered under FIR No. 23/2024 U/S 302 IPC.

The raids, a CBK said in a media statement, were conducted at the residential houses of Mohammad Afzal Sheikh, son of Ghulam Qadir Sheikh; Farooq Ahmad Sheikh, also son of Ghulam Qadir Sheikh, both residents of Bonzila, Haripora, Ganderbal, and at the residence of Wajid Rasool Dar, son of Gh. Rasool Dar of Haripora, Ganderbal.

The searches were carried out under the supervision of a Duty Magistrate and with assistance from local police, following warrants issued by a competent court.

The Police headquarters, as per the statement according to Alfaaz – The Words, had earlier transferred the case, initially registered at Police Station Ganderbal, to the Special Crime Wing Srinagar for further investigation.
