Cop Dies Under Mysterious Circumstances in Kashmir | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: A police personnel died under mysterious circumstances after being brought unconscious from Pampore to a hospital in Srinagar on Friday evening.

An official said that Head Constable Surinder Sharma, presently posted at Grid Station Pampore and a resident of Jammu, was initially taken to Sub-District Hospital Pampore in an unconscious condition.

Due to his critical condition, he was referred to SMHS Hospital, Srinagar, for advanced treatment. However, despite efforts by doctors, he succumbed.

Cognisance of the matter has been taken and further investigation initiated. (KNC)
