CM Omar Visits SKIMS, Wishes Speedy Recovery to Mehbooba Mufti’s Ailing Mother

SRINAGAR: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Wednesday visited SKIMS Hospital, Soura, to enquire about the health of the mother of Mehbooba Mufti, President of the PDP and former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir.

During the visit, the Chief Minister interacted with the family and conveyed his wishes for her speedy recovery. He was accompanied by Advisor to the Chief Minister, Nasir Aslam Wani.

Director SKIMS, Dr Ashraf Ganai, and Medical Superintendent, Dr Farooq Jan, briefed the Chief Minister about the patient’s condition and informed him that all necessary medical care and treatment is being provided.

Gulshan Ara, mother of PDP president and former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, has been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of SKIMS, Srinagar, after developing serious health complications.

She was admitted to SKIMS on Thursday morning and is currently under continuous medical supervision. Though the exact nature of her illness remains undisclosed, her condition is being closely monitored by a team of specialists in the ICU.
