CM Omar Abdullah felicitates Senior DCM Jammu Railway Division

Jammu, Mar 6: Uchit Singhal, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager (DCM), Jammu Railway Division of the Northern Railway called on the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on March 5, 2026 and apprised him of the upcoming railway initiatives in the region.

This was revealed by the Office of Chief Minister, J&K through a post on ‘X’.

“He (Singhal) was also felicitated on the occasion for his distinguished services and valuable contribution towards strengthening railway operations in Jammu and Kashmir,” the post said.

Jammu Division of Northern Railway also shared the news on its handle “Jammu Division of Northern Railway@Drm_Jammu” on ‘X’.

“Chief Minister Omar Abdullah honoured Uchit Singhal with a certificate of appreciation for his outstanding work during his tenure as Senior DCM of Jammu Railway Division, especially during “Operation Sindoor”, floods and his significant role in transportation of apples and cherries by rail,” it posted.
