Cluster University of Jammu has issued an advertisement inviting applications for the post of Project Personnel in the Department of Geology, School of Sciences. The post is under a research project funded by the Jammu and Kashmir Science, Technology and Innovation Council (JKST&IC) and is purely temporary in nature.

The project titled “Source and Fate of Micro-plastics in Aquatic Systems from Jammu Region” will focus on both field and laboratory-based investigations. The appointment is for a fixed duration of six months and will not lead to any claim for permanent employment.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must have an M.Sc. or equivalent degree in Earth Sciences or Environmental Studies with at least 55% marks (relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per rules).
