Central Kashmir: School Staff Member Arrested for Allegedly Molesting Minor Student

SRINAGAR: Jammu Kashmir Police have arrested a private school staff member for allegedly sexually assaulting and molesting a minor student in a private school in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Thursday.

Reports said, the father of the victim lodged a complaint alleging that his minor ward was allegedly assaulted and molested by a school staff member of the school falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Beerwah.

A police officer confirmed that following the complaint, Beerwah Police registered an FIR.

“The accused has been taken into custody, and necessary medico-legal formalities are being carried out,” the officer added. (KDC)
