Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (SKUAST-Jammu) has released Notification No. 02 of 2025 for engagement of contractual staff under the RKVY-RAFTAAR project at the Agri-Business Incubation Centre. Applications are invited offline for the posts of Business Manager and Technical/Office Assistant.

As per the notification, the last date for submitting the completed offline application forms is 31 July 2025. The appointment will be purely temporary and co-terminus with the project, which is valid till 31 March 2026. Selection will be made through screening followed by an interview. Salary will be ₹1.25 lakh per month for Business Manager and ₹30,000 per month for Technical/Office Assistant.

Interested and eligible candidates must apply offline by submitting a duly filled form, relevant documents, and application fee via registered post to the office of the Project Investigator at SKUAST-Jammu. Applications received after the deadline or without complete documents will be rejected.

Important Dates:
The registration process for SKUAST-Jammu RKVY-RAFTAAR contractual posts began on 09 July 2025. The deadline for submission of the offline application form is 31 July 2025 up to 5:00 PM.

Eligibility Criteria:
For Business Manager, candidates must have an M.Tech., MBA, Chartered Accountant, PGDM, or equivalent Master’s degree in relevant fields with at least 3 years of experience. For Technical/Office Assistant, candidates must be graduates in any stream, preferably B.Com. or BBA, with working knowledge of MS Office and accounts. The age limit for Business Manager is 25–50 years, and for Office Assistant is 21–30 years, with relaxation as per Government rules.

Eligible applicants should download the application form from www.skuast.org and submit it along with the required documents and Demand Draft to the office of Prof. Jyoti Kachroo, CEO/PI, Agri-Business Incubation Centre, SKUAST-J, Division of Agricultural Economics & ABM, Block-7, First Floor, Main Campus, Chatha, Jammu–180009.

Candidates must pay an application fee of ₹1500 for the Business Manager post and ₹1000 for the Office Assistant post via Demand Draft in favour of Comptroller, SKUAST-J, payable at Jammu.

Selection Process:
The selection will be done through an initial screening of applications followed by interviews. Only shortlisted candidates who fulfill all eligibility criteria will be called for interview. Final selection is subject to verification of documents and merit performance in the interview.
