
Srinagar, Feb 4: Students of Burn Hall School Srinagar and St. Joseph’s School Baramulla successfully completed a snow skiing course, marking a step towards promoting adventure sports and holistic education among school students.
The programme, as per a statement issued on Wednesday, witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of both institutions, who displayed commendable skill, discipline, and determination throughout the course.
The event was graced by the Chief Guest, DySP Faizan Ali, who hailed the impressive performance of the students and appreciated the efforts of the organisers and instructors. He congratulated the participants for embracing such challenging activities and awarded medals and certificates to the students in recognition of their achievements.
On the occasion, Principal Fr Suresh Britto lauded the students for actively taking part in the snow skiing course and encouraged them to continue engaging in co-curricular and adventure activities. He emphasised that such experiences contribute significantly to the all-round development of students, building confidence, resilience, and teamwork.
The event was also attended by Fr John Paul, Fr Susai Rajan, Fr Cornelius, Fr Roy, and F. Amla, who appreciated the initiative and motivated the students to pursue excellence both in academics and extracurricular pursuits.
