BSF Hands Over Bangladeshi National Apprehended Near IB to Police | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: The Border Security Force (BSF) on Thursday handed over a Bangladeshi national, who was apprehended near the International Border (IB), to the Jammu Police at Border Police Post (BPP) Gajansoo under Police Station Kanachak.

A top police officer said that the individual was apprehended in the Gajansoo area close to the International Border. He has been identified as Shariful Islam Bhuiyan, son of Mozibul Haque Bhuiyan, aged 19 years, a resident of Adra area of Comilla district in Bangladesh.

Police said that further questioning of the apprehended individual is underway to ascertain the circumstances under which he crossed the border and to verify other details, officer siad. (KNC)
