Brother Eleven clinches HCPL title with 30-run win over Hamza Eleven

Chandpora, Jun 22: The final match of the Harwan Chandpora Premier League (HCPL) concluded with Brother Eleven lifting the trophy after defeating Hamza Cricket Club by 30 runs in a well-fought contest at the Chandpora ground.

Brother Eleven, after winning the toss, chose to bat first and posted a competitive total of 163 for 5 in the allotted 20 overs. Tehseen Dar played a crucial innings, scoring 56 runs and anchoring the batting lineup.

In response, Hamza Eleven struggled to keep up with the required run rate and were bowled out for 133, falling short by 30 runs. Afaan Wani of Brother Eleven was named both Man of the Match and Man of the Series for his exceptional performances throughout the tournament.

The final drew a large turnout, with hundreds of cricket fans from the locality attending the match. Socio-political activist Peer Bilal was present as chief guest. In his remarks, he highlighted the significance of sports in youth development, noting that sporting activities foster discipline, teamwork, and a healthy competitive spirit.
