Border Roads Organisation (BRO) has released an official notice inviting applications from eligible Indian nationals for the post of Medical Officer under Project HIMANK. These positions will be filled on a contractual basis for one year, with the possibility of extension depending on organisational needs and performance. The vacancies are located in Eastern Ladakh across Darbuk, Hanle, and Shyok.
As per the notification, the post offers a fixed monthly remuneration of ₹95,000. Only MBBS-qualified doctors from Central or State Government, PSUs, or Autonomous Bodies (Allopathic) are eligible to apply. Candidates must also hold valid registration with a State Medical Council (SMC) or Central Medical Council (CMC).
Applications must be submitted in the prescribed format along with self-attested copies of required documents, and should reach the specified address before the closing date of 23 August 2025 by 12:00 hrs. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview, where they must present original certificates.

Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must hold an MBBS degree from a recognised institution and be registered with SMC or CMC. Only candidates from Central/State Government, PSUs, or Autonomous Bodies (Allopathic) can apply. Ex-servicemen should submit a duly signed PPO. The maximum fixed remuneration is ₹95,000 per month, subject to revision by the Government of India.
