SRINAGAR: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Ravinder Raina on Wednesday criticised his political opponents during a public gathering in Budgam, questioning their loyalty and respect for party leaders and representatives.
Addressing the gathering, Raina highlighted the contributions of a leader elected three times as an MLA from Budgam and currently serving as a Member of Parliament. “Those who don’t respect their own party’s senior leader and their own MP, how will they respect the people of Budgam?” he asked, receiving applause from supporters.
Raina urged voters to judge leaders by their actions and consistency rather than slogans or temporary political alliances. He stressed that the BJP stands for accountability and service, and genuine leadership involves adhering to party principles while serving the electorate.
The gathering, attended by local BJP workers and supporters, also included Raina outlining the party’s vision for Budgam’s development and improved governance.
