Srinagar, August 1: BJP Jammu and Kashmir spokesperson Altaf Thakur has hit out at the Congress party, accusing it of lacking originality and engaging in what he termed “copy-paste politics.”

In a sharp statement, Thakur said, “Congress in J&K has mastered the art of ‘copy-paste politics’ — first they stole PM Modi ji’s Fit India, Hit India mantra, then his anti-obesity campaign (via hunger strike!), and now even Chai Pe Charcha is on their menu. Originality? Missing.”

The remark comes amid a growing war of words between the BJP and Congress in the Union Territory, with both parties intensifying their outreach efforts ahead of the upcoming electoral season.

Thakur’s comments reflect BJP’s continued push to brand Congress as lacking vision and direction, while attempting to align their own initiatives with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s national campaigns.
