Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has released a notification (Advt. No. 04/2025) for the recruitment of 515 Artisan Grade-IV posts across multiple units. The online application process is scheduled to begin from 16th July 2025 on the official careers portal of BHEL.
Candidates selected will be engaged initially as temporary employees for one year and later regularized as Artisan Grade-IV with a pay scale of ₹29,500 – ₹65,000. Applicants must have passed Class 10 with ITI/NTC and NAC in relevant trades to be eligible.
The selection will be based on a Computer Based Test (CBT) to be held on the same day across all participating BHEL units. Candidates can apply for only one unit of their choice. The application window and detailed instructions will be published on careers.bhel.in.

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must have passed Class 10th and completed ITI/NTC and NAC in the relevant trade. Minimum marks required are 60% for General/OBC and 55% for SC/ST in both ITI and NAC.
The upper age limit as on 01 July 2025 is 27 years for General/EWS candidates, 30 years for OBC (NCL), and 32 years for SC/ST. Additional relaxations are available for PwBD, Ex-Servicemen, J&K Domicile, and candidates with relevant experience.

Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria can apply online through the BHEL careers portal careers.bhel.in once the application link is active from 16 July 2025.
The application fee structure has not been announced yet. Fee exemptions will apply to SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-servicemen as per government norms.
Selection Process:
The selection will be done through a Computer Based Test (CBT). The examination will be held on the same day for all BHEL units. Candidates must choose one unit during application and attend the test at designated centres.
