BEL Machilipatnam Walk-in 2025 For Project And Trainee Engineer Posts – Apply By 28 June

Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Defence, has invited applications for Project Engineer and Trainee Engineer posts on a temporary basis for its Machilipatnam Unit. The official advertisement (No. BEL/MC/01/2025-26) details walk-in-based recruitment for eligible candidates with engineering qualifications in Electronics and Mechanical disciplines.

According to the notification, there are 6 vacancies for Project Engineer (Electronics), 1 for Project Engineer (Mechanical), and 1 for Trainee Engineer (Mechanical). The engagement period ranges from 2 to 4 years, depending on the post, with monthly remuneration from ₹30,000 to ₹55,000.

Eligible candidates must pre-register online using the Google Form link provided in the official notification. Only pre-registered candidates will be allowed to appear for the walk-in selection scheduled on 29 June 2025 at PVP Siddhartha Institute of Technology, Vijayawada.

Vacancy Details:
BEL Machilipatnam has announced a total of 8 posts as follows:

Project Engineer (Electronics) – 6 Posts (UR-1, OBC-2, ST-1, EWS-2)
Project Engineer (Mechanical) – 1 Post (ST-1)
Trainee Engineer (Mechanical) – 1 Post (ST-1)

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates applying for Project Engineer must have a full-time B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc Engineering degree in relevant discipline with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience. For Trainee Engineer, no prior experience is required. All qualifications must be full-time from a recognized university or institute.

The maximum age limit as on 01 June 2025 is 32 years for UR/EWS, 35 years for OBC, and 37 years for ST candidates for Project Engineer posts. For Trainee Engineer, the maximum age for ST candidates is 33 years. PwBD candidates get an additional 10-year relaxation.

After submission, they should take a printout of the filled Google Form and carry it along with the filled application form and required documents to the walk-in venue.

Application Fee:
Project Engineer: ₹472 (including GST), payable online via BEL website.
Trainee Engineer: No fee.
SC/ST/PwBD candidates are exempt from payment of fees.

Selection Process:
Project Engineer: Written Test (85 marks) + Interview (for shortlisted candidates)
Trainee Engineer: Written Test (100 marks). Duration of each test is 90 minutes. A 0.25 mark penalty applies for each incorrect answer. Pass marks are 35% for general and 30% for ST/PwBD.
