Eligibility Criteria of BECIL Vacancies

Post Name	Educational Qualification and Experience	Age Limit
Genetic Counselor	Post Graduation in Genetics, Human Genetics, Human Genomics, Genetic Counseling or Life Sciences with Genetics as major subject. Candidates with one year clinical genetics observership or post-graduation certificate in genetic counseling will be preferred. BGCI or HSSC certified candidates are desirable.	Maximum 35 Years
Bioinformatics Analyst	M.Sc or M.Tech in Bioinformatics or Genomics with knowledge of Linux operating system and programming languages such as Python or Shell Script. Experience in genomic databases, exome sequencing analysis, ACMG guidelines and bioinformatics tools is required. Candidates with at least two years of experience will be preferred.	Maximum 35 Years
Genome Analyst	M.Sc in Bioinformatics, Human Genetics, Genomics or Molecular Biology with three years of experience, or Ph.D in relevant discipline. Experience in genomic sequencing analysis including exome, RNA, mitochondrial and whole genome sequencing is required.	Maximum 40 Years
