
SRINAGAR: The District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) Ganderbal has issued an advisory warning of a medium-intensity avalanche risk above 2,400 meters in the district over the next 24 hours.
The advisory, issued by District Magistrate Ganderbal, urged the public to remain vigilant and avoid venturing into avalanche-prone areas, including slopes, hilly terrains, and higher reaches, until further notice.
Residents, tourists, and nomadic communities have been asked to strictly follow official instructions and cooperate with the administration to ensure public safety.
