Authorities Announce Precautionary Restrictions Across Kashmir | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: Authorities on Sunday said that restrictions will be imposed across all districts of Kashmir on Monday as a precautionary measure to ensure a peaceful atmosphere following reports of protests across the Valley over the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader,  Ayatollah Khamenei.

Senior officials within the security grid say that the decision has been taken to maintain law and order and prevent any untoward incidents amid the prevailing situation.

“It has been decided to impose restrictions as a precautionary measure,” a senior official said.

The authorities said the restrictions will be enforced tomorrow and the situation will be closely monitored. (KNC)
