Army soldier dies of heart attack in Ramban

Ramban, Dec 3: An Army Subedar posted with the 23 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) in the Nachlana area of Ramban district died on Wednesday after suffering a heart attack.

Official sources said the officer, identified as Subedar Ram Singh Gurjar, a resident of Jaipur, Rajasthan, complained of severe chest pain while on duty. He was immediately shifted to District Hospital Ramban, where doctors declared him dead.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ramban, Arun Gupta, confirmed the incident, adding that the police had taken cognisance of the matter.
