Army Agniveer Injured in Landmine Blast Near LoC  | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: An Agniveer sustained injuries after a landmine exploded near the Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday, officials said.

Official sources said that the incident occurred while Army personnel were carrying out routine patrolling in a forward area of Keri sector, when the landmine accidentally went off, resulting in injuries to the Agniveer.

The injured personnel was promptly evacuated from the area and shifted to a hospital for medical treatment. His condition is stated to be stable. (KNC)
