Special Scholarship Scheme for J&K and Ladakh (PM-USPY) 2024: All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has started the online registration for the Prime Minister’s Special Scholarship Scheme (PMSSS) for Class 12 pass students of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. Online Registration has been commenced from 18th June 2024.

The details regarding eligibility criteria, courses and financial help are given below:

Eligibility criteria:
i. Domicile of UT of J&K or Ladakh
ii. Family income should not exceed Rs. 8.00 Lakh per annum
iii. Passed 10+2 Exam from JKBOSE or CBSE affiliated schools located in UT of J&K orLadakh
iv. Passed 10+3 Diploma from UT of J&K or Ladakh Polytechnic (if seeking admissiondirectly in second year in an engineering course).
v. Having category certificate as per the reservation policy of UT of Jammu & Kashmir, if wants to avail the benefits.

• Visit AICTE Website via link: https://www.aicte-india.org/bureaus/jk
• Go to SSSJKL Tab on the homepage.
• Click on the tab of A/Y 2024-25 and register yourself by following the instructions.
• All the students have to complete Aadhaar Authentication on SSSJKL Portal which is
• mandatory before going for application submission and document verification at nearest FDVC.

Take a printout of the on-line filled application and visit the nearest Facilitation- cum Document Verification Centre (FDVC) along with original documents and one set of their self-attested photocopies for verification

Students are required to visit nearest Facilitation Center for Registration only and for Document Verification please visit nearest Facilitation-cum-Document Verification Center (FDVC) from 21.6.2024 onwards. List of these Centers is available on AICTE Website.

Note: Students already enrolled in any other scholarship scheme on board with NSP or enrolling while being a beneficiary of SSSJ&K and Ladakh are not eligible for scholarship as per the guidelines of the Scheme.
