
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the notification for the Common University Entrance Test (Postgraduate) – CUET (PG) 2026, opening the gateway for admission to postgraduate programmes across universities in India. CUET (PG) is a national-level entrance examination conducted for admissions into PG courses offered by Central Universities, State Universities, Deemed Universities, Private Universities, and other participating institutions.
CUET (PG) 2026 will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The examination aims to provide a single-window opportunity to students seeking admission to various postgraduate programmes, ensuring transparency, fairness, and uniform standards in the admission process.
A total of 157 universities are participating, offering admissions to around 195 postgraduate programmes. The examination will be conducted not only across India but also in 16 international cities, making it accessible to candidates studying abroad.
Candidates must apply online only through the official NTA website. Only one application form per candidate is allowed; multiple applications will be rejected. Applicants must carefully follow the instructions mentioned in the Information Bulletin to avoid disqualification.
Candidates are advised to ensure that their email ID and mobile number provided during registration are active, as all communication from NTA will be sent through registered contact details only.
CUET (PG) 2026 will be conducted at multiple centres across India and abroad. Details regarding exam city allotment will be shared through the Exam City Intimation Slip, which will be released before the admit card.
