National Test House (NTH), under the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, has released a notification inviting applications for Young Professional posts on a contract basis. These posts are available in various disciplines such as Technical, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Microbiology, RPPT, Food Analysis and Management.

There are a total of 25 vacancies for Senior and Junior Young Professional posts at different NTH offices across India. Candidates must submit their applications through email only. The last date for sending the application is 18 January 2026.

Eligibility Criteria of National Test House Young Professional Vacancies

Senior Young Professional (Technical – Food Analyst)	Qualified Food Analyst as per Food Safety and Standards Rules 2011 and Master’s in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Dairy Chemistry or Bachelor/Master’s in Food Technology, Food and Nutrition, Dairy Technology	Minimum 3 years in ISO/IEC 17025 accredited food testing laboratory or research institution	Not more than 38 years
Senior Young Professional (Management)	MBA or Post Graduate Diploma	Minimum 3 years, preferably in a Government organisation	Not more than 38 years
Junior Young Professional (Management / Mass Communication)	MBA or Post Graduate Diploma in Mass Communication	Minimum 1 year, preferably in a Government organisation	Not more than 35 years
Junior Young Professional (Technical – Chemical)	MSc Chemistry or B Tech in Chemical Engineering	Minimum 1 year in relevant field	Not more than 35 years

Tenure of engagement is 1 year for all posts and may be extended up to a maximum of 4 years based on satisfactory performance in the previous year.

The engagement is purely contractual and may be terminated with one month notice from either side. No TA or DA will be paid for appearing in the selection process or joining.

Remuneration

Senior Young Professional	Rs 70,000 per month (consolidated), with Rs 5,000 increase on yearly extension
Junior Young Professional	Rs 40,000 per month (consolidated), with Rs 5,000 increase on yearly extension
