Srinagar, Jul 6: Apni Party president Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari extended his heartfelt congratulations to Jammu and Kashmir Police wrestlers, Constables Bania Min and Ishaq Ahmad, for winning gold medals at the ongoing World Police and Fire Games 2025 in Birmingham, United States.
In a post shared on microblogging site X, Bukhari lauded the duo for their exceptional achievement on an international platform, where they competed against top athletes from law enforcement and emergency services across more than 70 countries.
“Two constables from the Jammu and Kashmir Police, Bania Min and Ishaq Ahmad, have won gold medals at an international wrestling event in the United States. I have been informed that they have competed against top athletes from law enforcement and emergency services across more than 70 countries and proved their outstanding skill and performance to achieve this remarkable success,” Bukhari posted on X (formerly Twitter).
“My warmest congratulations to both winners. You have made us all proud. Wishing you continued success in the future,” he added.
Notably, bringing international acclaim to the Jammu and Kashmir Police, Constables Bania Min and Ishaq clinched gold medals in wrestling at the ongoing World Police and Fire Games 2025 being held in Birmingham, United States.
As per an official statement issued by J&K Police on Friday, they lauded the achievements of the two athletes, describing their performance as a testament to unwavering grit, discipline, and determination.
