Allocation of Rs 209 Cr for flood relief welcome step: Manzoor Bhat

Jammu, Sep 2: Bharatiya Janata Party, Jammu & Kashmir has welcomed announcements of Union Home Minister Amit Shah during his visit to the Union Territory to review the situation caused by recent cloudbursts, landslides, and flash floods. Manzoor Bhat, Spokesperson BJP J&K thanked the Home Minister for his announcement of Rs 209 crore as the Central share to the State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF), enabling immediate large-scale relief and rehabilitation across affected regions, said a press release.

“BJP J&K acknowledges his proactive leadership and compassionate outreach, which have instilled confidence among the people.

Guided by PM Modi and the commitment of the Home Minister, the people of J&K are assured of full support for relief, rehabilitation, and long-term disaster preparedness,” it said.
