Airports Authority of India (AAI), NSCBI Airport Kolkata, has released an official notification for the engagement of Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for the year 2025–26. The apprenticeship training will be for a duration of one year and is open to eligible candidates having domicile of West Bengal.
A total of 34 positions are available under Graduate, Diploma, and ITI (Trade) Apprenticeship categories. Candidates who have completed their degree, diploma, or ITI after 2023 are eligible. The training will be conducted at NSCBI Airport, Kolkata.
The monthly stipend will range from ₹9,000 to ₹15,000 depending on the apprenticeship category. The selection will be based on the percentage of marks in the qualifying examination followed by interview and document verification.

The registration process has started and applications will be accepted through the NATS/BOPT portal for graduate/diploma apprentices and NAPS for ITI trade apprentices.

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates applying for Graduate Apprentice posts must hold a full-time four-year engineering degree in the relevant stream, recognized by AICTE. Diploma Apprentices must have a full-time three-year diploma. ITI Trade Apprentices must possess an NCVT certificate in the relevant trade from DG Training, Government of India.
Applicants must be Indian Nationals and residents of West Bengal. The age of the candidate should be between 18 and 26 years as on 30 July 2025. Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD as per Government of India rules.

Selection Process:
Selection will be based on the percentage of marks in the required educational qualification. Shortlisted candidates will be informed via email and called for document verification and interview. Final selection will be based on verification and submission of a medical fitness certificate at the time of joining.
