Pothole-ridden Rajouri-Dodaj road irks people

Rajouri, Oct 11: The deteriorated condition of the Rajouri–Dodaj road has become a major concern for residents as large potholes and uneven surfaces continue to trouble daily commuters.

Locals said the road, which serves as a key link connecting several villages, witnesses the movement of hundreds of vehicles every day.

However, the lack of maintenance has made travel increasingly difficult and risky.

People from adjoining areas have urged the authorities to take immediate steps for repair and restoration of the road, stressing that the poor condition is not only causing inconvenience but also posing safety hazards.

They have appealed for early intervention to ease the travel hardships faced by thousands of residents.
