Tata Punch becomes SUV of choice for J&K this festive season

Srinagar, Oct 11: Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles (TMPV) has emerged as the No. 2 passenger vehicle manufacturer by sales in September 2025, driven by its robust and diverse product portfolio. Leading this growth is the Tata Punch — ranked among the top five best-selling cars in India during the same period.

Available in petrol, CNG, and electric variants, the Punch is a no compromise SUV in a compact footprint. Combined with class-leading features, the Punch has not only become the preferred choice for customers upgrading to an SUV but also stands out as the top pick for first-time car buyers (69 per cent) across the country.

The Punch contributed 37 per cent of TMPV’s overall sales in Jammu & Kashmir between April and September 2025, making it one of the most loved cars in the state. In Jammu alone, the SUV has recorded a remarkable 2X growth in sales. With its bold, sporty and youthful design, tech-forward features, and segment-best safety (GNCAP 5 star for the ICE version; BNCAP and GNCAP 5 star rated for EV version), the Punch delivers exceptional value, further enhanced by the recent GST reforms.
