14 Girl Students Felicitated for Completing Aalmiyat Course, Hifz

Kupwara, Oct 5: A daylong annual congregational programme was held on Sunday at Dar-ul-Uloom Al-Madniya, Madina Bagh, Lalpora in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district, marked by spiritual fervour and scholarly participation.

The event was graced by Alhaj Maulana Mohammad Iqbal Andrabi as the chief guest, with noted scholars including Maulana Dr. Nasir Ahmad Nadvi, Maulana Aijaz Ahmad, Mufti Naseer Ahmad Qasmi, Maulana Hassan Ahmad Nadvi, Maulana Majeeb-ur-Rehman, and Muhtamim Dar-ul-Uloom Al-Madniya Lalpora Maulana Ghulam Rasool Nadvi in attendance.

On the occasion, eleven girl students were felicitated for completing Aalmiyat course the three ‘Hifz’ (memorization) of the Holy Quran, a milestone celebrated with solemnity and joy.

The scholars, in their speeches, underscored the profound significance of Quranic education and moral upbringing, particularly emphasizing the pivotal role of women in nurturing faith and values within families and society.

As a gesture of honour, the scholars symbolically placed turbans upon family representatives of the girls who completed the Hifz course, signifying respect and spiritual accomplishment.

Notably, Dar-ul-Uloom Al-Madniya currently houses around one hundred girl students, offering them Quranic and religious education along with free lodging and boarding facilities, reflecting the institution’s commitment to accessible faith-based learning and social upliftment.
