
Jammu, Oct 3: J&K government has accorded sanction to the constitution of the Steering Committee for the creation and implementation of the Integrated Digital Financial Management Platform (IDFMP) for its Finance department for streamlining the overall financial data.
As per its terms of reference, the committee will oversee implementation of the Integrated Digital Financial Management System (IDFMS) in a time bound manner vis-a-vis the best practices followed across States and UTs besides drafting and issuance of Eol (Expression of Interest) and RFP (Request for Proposal).
The panel will oversee time-bound implementation of IDFMS; drafting and issuance of EoI and RFP.
The steering committee will comprise Director General Resources, Finance department as its chairman and Director Resources, Finance department; Additional Secretary, Finance department; Joint Director Codes, Finance department; Deputy Director Budget, Finance Department; a representative of DGAT not below the rank of Deputy Director or Chief Accounts Officer and Accounts Officer Resources, Finance Department as its members.
Further, the steering committee will co-opt the officer from the IT Department (subject knowing). Deputy Director Resources, Finance department will be its member secretary.
Furthermore, Jaswinder Pal Singh, Deputy Director Resources, will be the nodal officer for the implementation of the IDFMP.
