Jammu Kashmir Medical Council Opens Online Applications for Foreign Medical Graduates’ Internship

SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Medical Council has announced that the process for accepting applications for Compulsory Rotatory Medical Internship (CRMI) by Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGs) has been shifted to an online mode.

According to the notification issued by Registrar and Secretary Dr Sandeep Dogra, FMGs who have completed their MBBS degree from recognised foreign institutions and are eligible for internship in JK’s medical colleges can now apply through the Council’s official website, www.jkmedicalcouncil.in

Candidates are required to upload all requisite documents along with their applications.

The notification also laid down the timeline for the process. The last date for submitting online applications has been fixed as October 20, 2025, up to 5 pm. Applicants will then have to complete physical verification of their documents at either the Jammu office in Gandhi Nagar or the Srinagar office in Hyderpora by October 22, 5 pm.

The provisional merit list, along with the provisional allotment of medical colleges for CRMI, will be displayed online on October 24. Any objections against the merit list can be submitted until October 27, 5 pm. The final merit list, along with the final allotment of medical colleges for internship, will be published on October 30.

The Council has asked all eligible FMGs to adhere strictly to the schedule and complete both the online submission and physical verification processes within the stipulated time.
